Summer is finally here and it’s time to trade in some screen time for green time. There is no better time to get outdoors and do some good too!
From now through August 31, Nature Valley is kicking off its Summer of a Million Miles Challenge, which encourages people to get outdoors and collectively hike one million miles in support of the National Park Foundation.
Partnering with the MapMyHike app, Nature Valley is challenging families to get outside and collectively hike one million miles this summer. Why one million? If everyone participating collectively logs at least one million miles in qualifying hikes, Nature Valley will donate $250,000 to the National Park Foundation, the official charitable partner of the National Park Service.
Joining the challenge is easy. If you don’t already have the app, simply download the MapMyHike app, go to the “challenge” tab and join the Million Miles Challenge. Log your hikes to earn badges and rewards. At the end of the summer, one lucky winner will be selected to win the grand prize, a trip for two to a National Park!
Qualifying Hikes can earn entry into sweepstakes for various prizes. Must be US resident 18+ to enter.
No purchase necessary; void where prohibited. Ends 8/31/18. Sweeps rules, prize description, and alternernate entry info here.
To further support the National Park Foundation, Nature Valley is partnering with Omaze to provide one lucky winner and their friends a hiking experience with Dax Shepard! A donation to the NPF through Omaze provides you entries for a chance to win.
NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR CONTRIBUTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Must be US resident 18+ to enter. Contributing will not improve chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Sweeps rules, prize description, and alternernate entry info here.
