Where's Your Nature Valley?

2006 Restoration Project
Nature Valley’s commitment to America’s trails continued and grew in 2006, when $175,000 was donated. The money was used to send college and high school volunteers, members of the Student Conservation Association, into five of America’s national parks to help make them even more enjoyable. Read more about each restoration and see photos taken by the volunteers in each section below.

The Nature Valley-funded crew helped widen and repair the Telescope Peak trail, originally constructed in the 1930’s, as well as clearing brush and other repairs, such as:
  • Stabilizing switchbacks
  • Cutting and trimming trees
  • Blocking off-trail shortcuts
