Where's Your Nature Valley?

2006 Restoration Project
Nature Valley’s commitment to America’s trails continued and grew in 2006, when $175,000 was donated. The money was used to send college and high school volunteers, members of the Student Conservation Association, into five of America’s national parks to help make them even more enjoyable. Read more about each restoration and see photos taken by the volunteers in each section below.

Crews in this national park of diverse habitats built a 400-foot stretch of wooden walkway, built water controls and cleared debris among many other tasks, including:
  • Removing 200 feet of damaged boardwalks
  • Replacing trail markers
  • Rerouting a trail section
