Where's Your Nature Valley?


2005 Restoration Project
In 2005, Nature Valley donated $150,000 to the National Parks Foundation to send members of the Student Conservation Association into America’s national parks to perform a variety of tasks towards restoring trails and improving the appearance and amenities in four national parks. An SCA crew spent part of their summer helping maintain The Golden Gate National Recreation Area, which attracts 16 million visitors a year. The crew performed the following tasks to keep the park available for all:
  • Brushed 4 miles of trails
  • Created 16 waterbars
